About Hashienuma Reservoir
The centerpiece of the park, Hashienuma, consists of two connected reservoirs: Hashienuma Kamimuma to the north and Hashienuma Shimonuma to the south.
The two reservoirs together cover approximately 15.1 hectares, making Hashienuma the largest irrigation reservoir in Isesaki City.
Hashienuma Kamimuma was originally created to provide water for agriculture. Today, its banks have been improved with walking paths and stone embankments, creating an attractive landscape for strolling and enjoying the waterfront.
Hashienuma Shimonuma was once used for carp farming. Today, it retains a rich natural waterside environment and provides a habitat for plants and wildlife.
Convenient Access
Hashienuma Environmental Interaction Park is easy to reach both by car and by public transportation, making it a convenient destination for a short nature break while exploring Isesaki.
By Car
The park is approximately one minute by car from the Hashienuma Smart Interchange on the Kita-Kanto Expressway.
It is also adjacent to Hashienuma Parking Area, allowing visitors to walk to the park directly from the parking area. This makes it especially convenient for travelers taking a highway road trip.
By Public Transportation
From JR Isesaki Station, take the Isesaki City Community Bus “Aozora” and get off at the Shuku-Hashie bus stop. The park is approximately a three-minute walk from the bus stop.
